Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Drug Manufacturing Technician to join our toxicology laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, opening, and verifying specimens in accordance with regulatory guidelines, while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the samples.

Responsibilities

• Receive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysis
• Review and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody forms
• Destroy specimens as needed
• Clean and maintain work area daily
• Inspect all trash bags once aliquoting process is completed to ensure sample and document removal
• Process Triage requests
• Assist with various tasks in the laboratory area
• Prepare samples for shipment
• Adhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information
• Comply with company policy

Essential Skills

• Basic ability to use a computer
• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and procedures
• Basic communication skills
• Advanced understanding of certification requirements for SAMHSA, CAP-FUDT, and other regulatory bodies
• Basic understanding of the function of a Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other laboratory computer systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
