Job Description

Our client in Water Treatment, Technology & Systems is seeking a Production Technician/General Laborer to join their production team. As a Production Technician, you will be part of the Production team responsible for packaging, palletizing and putting away chemicals and finished products. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, have excellent attention to detail and communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Eagan, MN

Pay: $20/hour

Shift: 1st Shift, 7AM - 3:30PM

Position Length: 4.5 month Contract with potential for extension

What’s the Job?

• Operate packaging equipment continually. Types of equipment could include wrappers, tape machine, bar coders, ink jet printer, hand wrenches, and palletizers
• Manual packaging may include lifting, boxing, stacking, taping, lidding and box assembly
• Complete and document activities that measure quality and productivity in an accurate and timely manner. This could include taking weights and performing basic quality tests. Enter results on paper or in electronic systems
• Assist with line changeover
• Take samples and keep area clean

What’s Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Candidate must provide their own safety shoes and prescription safety glasses
• Must be able to lift/carry 25lbs
• Must be able to walk and stand for long hours (6+ hrs)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Must be able to wear and function in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
