Job Description

KB Studio, Inc. is a full-service Interior Design firm specializing in high-end residential design and ground-up construction projects. Our firm is based in Brentwood and has projects in Los Angeles, Aspen, Sun Valley, Sonoma, and New York. We strive to provide exceptional service to our clients by creating timeless, tailored interiors that pay attention to every detail.

We are looking to enhance our team with a talented Interior Design Assistant to work on-site in our Los Angeles office. This role is ideal for a dynamic, detail-oriented, highly organized individual who takes pride in producing excellent work. The position will start as part-time (20 hours per week) , with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role over time.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support Design Team with all phases of the design process, including consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery/installations.
  • Produce presentations and mood boards, communicate design concepts, and assist with space planning and organizing product selections.
  • Shop for materials and samples from the Design Center and local showrooms.
  • Create work orders and proposals for clients in Studio Designer Software.
  • Organize and maintain the office material library.
  • Manage KB Studio’s Social Media platforms.
  • Administrative tasks, including errands, follow-up calls, and day-to-day office work.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must have or are pursuing a degree in Interior Design.
  • 6+ months of experience assisting an Interior Designer.
  • Experience with Studio Designer Software or similar preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on interior installation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other related space planning/rendering programs is preferred but not required.
  • Strong artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching capabilities, are a bonus!
  • Must have a valid driver's license, own a reliable vehicle, and currently reside in the Los Angeles area.
