All experienced Analysts and Associates with relevant Investment Banking, Transactions Services and/or M&A Advisory, apply directly. The firm has been around for nearly 20 years and their leaders are from the top Investment Banks on the street. An ultra boutique middle markets Investment Bank is growing their Industrials team. They are also focused on other industries such as Technology Services & Energy Transition. Within the Industrials business they have a focus on several sub-verticals including Aerospace & Defense, Engineering & Construction, Building Products and Industrial Technology. In addition to Sell-Side M&A Advisory, this bank offers several services including Capital Raising and Valuations. About 75% of their business is Sell-Side like other middle market companies. Their clientele is lower middle markets, EV of deals are around $100mn to $300mn. What are people saying about this company? Ideal place for Bankers who want to work on a lean team A chance to learn directly from a Managing Director Exciting time to join a growing platform Specialty focus helps standout and develop a niche from a early career standpoint Title: Industrials Investment Banking – Associate/Analyst Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 +Bonus Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Responsibilities: Work alongside the Investment Banking team Focus on execution of M&A deals, while assisting on Origination efforts as needed Conduct research, stay up to date on the Industrials market trends and M&A activity Make industry connections to become a specialist in the sector, long term origination support Create Financial Models, pitch/marketing material, presentations Perform financial analysis of companies Requirements: BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field Anywhere between 2-4 years of Investment Banking experience, past Internships will be considered, along with Transactions related experience, (Transaction Services roles or M&A Advisory roles) Industrials Investment Banking experience is a plus, ideally in the Aerospace & Defense or Chemicals sectors; any other sub sectors of Industrials is also desirable such as Industrials Technology, Logistics & Transportation, Building Products and Government Services Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self starter and highly motivated to succeed in an IB role Hunger and ambition to contribute to a growing platform Strong interpersonal, communications, listening skills and business acumen Able to work on multiple projects at once Strong drive and work ethic, strong desire to stay in the Investment banking space in the long term Relevant Investment Banking licenses such as Series 79, Series 63, Series 7 or the ability to obtain them soon after receiving an offer #J-18808-Ljbffr Smith Arnold Partners
