Position Type: Auxiliary - Technical/Info Services/Technical Services Date Posted: 1/4/2025 Location: Technical Services Information Technology Compensation Plan Salary Range: $31.81 - $45.77 per/Hour Shift Type: Full-Time Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Network Operations Supervisor EMPLOYMENT BEGINS: As soon as possible PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position is responsible for maintenance, repairs, innovations, and improvements that ensure the reliability and performance of the district's network.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification: High School Diploma/GED. Valid Texas driver's license. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Palo Alto Firewalls Network Security Cisco iOS Dlink OS Network Access Control solutions Project Management EXPERIENCE: Engineering/Implementation of new Layer 2/3 networks Engineering of new firewall, NAC, wireless Installations. At least 2 years' experience with environments listed in special skills section. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Managing the district's firewalls, core routing, and switching Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
