Leading offset printing and converting company in WA is searching to hire an experienced Printing and Converting Manager for day shift.
Responsibilities include:

• Develop and manage the daily/weekly/monthly goals for the production depts. to ensure that company meets weekly capacity and scheduling and delivery requirements.
• Responsible for sheetfed offset and converting operations.
• Monitor production performance vs. standards and budget and implement corrective action where needed.
• Minimize costs wherever possible and ensure that Best Work Practices are maintained.
• Make sure work force is used in the most effective & efficient manner.
• Lead, coach and develop high performing teams.
• Manage equipment and machinery making sure they are maintained in most efficient and cost-effective manner to meet schedules, budgets and minimize downtimes.
• Report regularly on production status to senior level management.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 5 years' print production leadership experience.; offset sheetfed experience required.
• Good technical knowledge of offset sheetfed printing, die cutting and laminating operations.
• Experience implementing and developing Continuous Improvement Practices/ to improve efficiencies, reduce waste and down times.
• Excellent communication skills engaging with hourly employees and first line supervisors.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and employee training skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• PC proficient.

Starting salary range: $125,000 - $140,000 + excellent health care, 401k match, profit sharing, and relocation package.
