Job Description

This role is critical to Veev's mission of transforming the construction industry with modern, sustainable, and efficient construction techniques. In this role, you will directly contribute to the efficiency, sustainability, and quality of modern home construction by Veev . Your work will have a tangible impact on Veev’s ability to scale operations and drive industry-wide change.

The Role

As a Transaction Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Real Estate Department at Veev. You’ll contribute to the timely completion of documents and contracts in support of property acquisitions, sales and closings. You’ll also coordinate with a variety of constituents including escrow, title and real estate agents to ensure a smooth and predictable closing process on all transactions. Further you will be integral in maintaining spreadsheets, dashboards and tracking documents to manage and summarize Department activities.. In addition, you’ll support Real Estate activities by processing payment requisitions, Department invoices, and budget tracking This role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, NetSuite enterprise software and contribute to Veev’s continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support real estate transactions in the acquisition of new homesites.
  • Track timelines and coordinate with the Land Acquisition and Finance teams to coordinate payments, closing documents, and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Summarize transaction details in spreadsheets for accurate and timely management overview and dashboards.
  • Ensure documents are filed and organized appropriately.
  • Support sales closing transactions.
  • Coordinate with escrow teams, title officers, real estate agents and internal teams to ensure smooth closing transactions.
  • Summarize sales contract and closing activities to ensure timely closings and provide management reports.
  • Organize and prepare reports and documents required for sales contracts.
  • Support the Real Estate team.
  • Process requisitions, invoices and vendor payments.
  • Summarize budgets, actual payments and financial forecasting.
  • Coordinate administrative, payment and budgeting activities with the Finance and NetSuite teams.
  • Provide additional support as required..

Must-Have Skills And Competencies

  • Familiar with real estate transaction documents, including contracts, disclosures, title reports and the lending process
  • Proficient with spreadsheets such as Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Able to use formulas to summarize data
  • Can create presentable graphs and tables to organize information
  • Has the ability to link multiple spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and accounting practices
  • Can process requisitions and payments
  • Can run reports and extract data to consolidate and summarize information
  • Knowledge and experience with real estate transactions.
  • Understanding of the complexities of land purchases and sales.

Education & Experience :

  • Familiarity and experience with NetSuite software
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices
  • Extensive experience with spreadsheet software such as Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in the real estate or related industries.

Nice-to-Have Skills And Competencies

  • Licensed Real Estate Agent
  • Licensed Mortgage Agent

Education & Experience :

  • Familiarity and experience with NetSuite software
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices
  • Extensive experience with spreadsheet software such as Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in the real estate or related industries.

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $75,000-$105,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas
