Job Requirements and Duties:

• BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
• Healthcare materials management
• Materials Management
• Premier MMIS system
• Oversee and maintain a comprehensive material distribution and receiving program for the Hospital and its clinics.
• Establish and monitor quality, business, and operational performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement departmental and organizational goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Supply chain and inventory management systems.
• Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications.
• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
• Skilled at negotiation and networking.
• Collaborate with staff and physicians to manage cost utilization and standardize physician preference items.
• Apply performance improvement techniques to reduce overall supply and inventory costs, including logistical costs.
• Review purchase records over specific periods to improve procurement procedures.
• Ensure efficient and effective distribution to all on-site and off-site departments.
• Continuously evaluate contracts and bids.
• Understanding of forecasting and budgeting.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
