Surgical Technologist L&D Birth Center Nights at UCHealth summary:
As a Surgical Technologist in the Labor and Delivery Birth Center, you will provide direct patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment. This role requires registration as a Surgical Assistant or Technologist and a commitment to ongoing education and patient safety. You will contribute to exceptional patient outcomes and support the educational growth of new healthcare staff.

Department: Labor and Delivery
FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Nights
Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Minimum Requirements: - High School diploma or GED or Military trained.
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
- 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Women's Care and Infants: - Direct care units include Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery - Birth Center, Women's Care and NICU
- AWHONN's and AACN's practice standards and certifications including RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP and CCRN guide evidence-based care models
- Clinical Educators support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
