Title- Project Manager

Duration: Long term Contract

Locations: Charlotte, NC / Atlanta, GA

Role Responsibilities:

'Oversee multiple high-priority projects and/or business unit programs, which requires considerable resources with high levels of integration. Ensure projects are documented, prioritized and executed to address client program/project requirements.

'Examples include but not limited to:

1.Provide leadership in managing critical day-to-day program/project elements including: project vision/objectives, scope, quality, schedule, deliverables, governance, dependencies, risks, status reporting, stakeholder engagement, business readiness/change management, and value realization necessary to deliver specified requirements, objectives and value.

2.Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes and ensure appropriate and professional communication among project stakeholders.

3.Manage projects through the project lifecycle. Document the project charter, roles, tasks and measures of success. Evaluate progress and quality, manage issue resolution and take corrective action as necessary.

1. Leads the adaptation of a work program and practice aids.
2. Proactively develop innovative approaches, risk mitigation strategies, quality control and continuous improvement.
3. Identifies key risks and controls, recommends improved controls, performs controls readiness projects and identifies and assesses configuration of controls in financial reporting related IT processes.

Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences:

1. Bachelor's degree in IT or Accounting or equivalent education and related training.
2. Two years of relevant IT audit experience
3. Ability to take direction and then work independently to complete tasks with moderate supervision.
4. Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance frameworks
5. Knowledge in software development lifecycle in an enterprise environment.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences:

'1. Has achieved Certified associate in project management (CAPM) and advancing towards Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

1. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
2. 3 years Financial services-related experience managing large complex enterprise program initiatives
3. Financial services or specialized industry experience.
