Description
Ensure health and safety (HSE) compliance for all aspects of the engineering design phase of the projects.
Perform mechanical and electrical pre-commissioning on wind turbines and associated equipment
Climb wind turbine towers daily, wearing all required safety equipment, to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment.
Understand the electrical and mechanical functions of all components of a wind turbine generator and associated equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; repair and/or replace components
Monitors safety and production for their assigned scope on the job site.
Works with the superintendent to evaluate the equipment needed for the project and ensure company-owned equipment is utilized as much as possible.
Review the overall job cost of the project and prepare a monthly report analyzing the projected job costs and person-hour productions.
Read and understand the plans and OEM specifications.
Assists project management in directing additional job staff, such as project administrators and labor forces, in their duties.
Assists in producing, directing, and monitoring the project schedule with the superintendent and or supervisors. Provide monthly updates to the client or as directed within the guidelines of the prime contract.

OSHA 30 requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Eligible to work in the United States without needing employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in the wind construction industry OR 3 years of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery experience.
OSHA 30 training certification.
Thorough working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
PDF editor experience (Adobe, Bluebeam).
Must possess a valid driver's license and is insurable.
Must be willing and able to travel for prolonged project assignments.
Can climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs. in weight
Experience with the use and understanding of power tools such as hydraulic, tensioning, and torque tools, diagnostic tools such as Fluke
