Job Description

Oversee the development and implementation of advanced data science projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals, leveraging tools such as Python, Pyspark and SQL. Work with a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance in machine learning techniques and fostering a collaborative work environment. Implement sophisticated feature engineering techniques, utilizing internal and external data sources (e.g., promotions, events, weather patterns) to enhance accuracy. Develop sophisticated predictive models using cutting-edge machine learning techniques and algorithms including timeseries forecasting, regression models, clustering, decision trees, and ensemble methods. Implement and optimize big data solutions to handle large-scale datasets using platforms like Delta Lake. Employ data engineering practices to build robust data pipelines and infrastructure, utilizing Microsoft Azure, Synapse and SQL technologies. Drive innovation in AI and machine learning by researching and applying the latest advancements in the field, including deep learning techniques such as CNNs, RNNs, and LSTMs. Optimize model performance through hyperparameter tuning and track experiments using tools like MLflow. Develop and deploy deep learning models for complex tasks such as natural language processing and image recognition. Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute data-driven business strategies, translating these into analytical solutions with measurable impact. Translate business requirements into actionable insights, integrating data science solutions into products and service in partnership with product, engineering, and marketing teams. Set and enforce best practices in data science methodologies, coding standards, implementing Git, and project management, ensuring the team’s continuous development and adherence to industry standards. Utilize visualization tools like Qlik and PowerBI to present complex data findings in an accessible manner for various stakeholders. Ensure all data science activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and data governance policies. Job requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering related or Technical related fields plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. In lieu of the above, we will also accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering related or Technical related fields plus 2 years of experience. We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience should include Python, PySpark, Microsoft Azure, Synapse, Delta Lake, Machine Learning, Timeseries Forecasting, Regression models, Clustering, Decision Trees, Ensemble methods, CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, Git, Hyperparameter tuning, MLflow, Qlik.
