This position is responsible for directing and supervising all administrative and clinical operations of the Pharmacy services provided at BRH. Positions assigned to this band interpret and carry out the program or objectives set forth by a Senior Leader or C-Suite Executive and have substantial authority and independence for decisions related to allocating resources, staff oversight, budget development, department policy and procedures, and the administrative and financial success of their assigned areas.
Complexity of Work: This position oversees pharmacy services with impact to the whole hospital. Supervision is exercised over professional, licensed staff. Work performed requires a diverse set of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
Education: Graduation of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education.
Experience(s): A minimum of five years of current Pharmacist experience. Two years of supervisory/management
experience is preferred.
License(s): Current State of Alaska Pharmacist License.
Certification(s): Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS.
